This pharmaceutical company moved to an office that was much larger and more modern than their previous location, and wanted to create a sense of progress and innovation in their new space. They also wanted to use their new, larger office area to incorporate more shared, open spaces to facilitate community and conversation, especially among people who may not normally interact, as a way to spark fresh new ideas.

This presentation space needed a dramatic, unexpected flair to make it, and the information presented inside, all the more memorable.

The result was this high-tech take on a rotunda, where information would be displayed in video form both inside the textured glass enclosure and on the walls outside. Nanometer used NanoFlex fixtures, which allowed for seamless illumination even in the the tightest curves in the space — those around the central media installation.

For added stability, the NanoFlex fixtures were mounted inside flexible mounting channels that can easily conform to both the curves of the structure as well as the length of the NanoFlex fixture. The channel provides stability and consistency for a sleek, elegant appearance. The combination of these flexible channels and the extruded silicone fixture is also ideal for higher-traffic areas like under the bench, where durability is a must.

The NanoFlex fixtures weren’t selected only for their ability to bend. Since the space was designed for interactive presentations, the fixtures were equipped with RGBW LEDs and Pixel Controls, which allow the fixtures to be programmed in different colors for events and seasonal displays. Alongside screens displaying information, they turn the space into a presentation in the round. For an extra futuristic touch, they can even react when visitors enter the room for the feeling of a personalized experience.
